Dawn Teh is a freelance journalist based in Perth. Dawn writes about pathways to homeownership for Aussies, educating Journal readers on mortgages, low-cost deposit options and property buying. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Edith Cowan University.

Jarrad Sapsford is an experienced Buyer’s Agent and home-buying operations specialist. Jarrad advocates for customers at OwnHome and specialises in navigating the nuances of the home-buying journey for first-home buyers. Jarrad holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Technology Sydney, a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and a Class I Real Estate License.

Gemma is a freelance journalist based in Melbourne. She’s been published in numerous property and business publications, including realestate.com.au, SBS and Broadsheet, covering everything from investing, renting, and the property market to interior design and construction. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Journalism) from the University of Technology Sydney.

Nathan Crookes is an experienced personal finance expert. Nathan has worked as a business banker at Westpac and as a Home Loan Specialist at Lendi Group. Nathan holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, a Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, a Bachelor of Economics and Applied Finance and is ASIC RG146 certified.

Imogen Baxter is an editorial reviewer at OwnHome and the Chief of Staff. Imogen has held senior roles in corporate communications at Sendle and Square Peg Capital, a leading venture capital fund. She has contributed to events and articles for The Guardian, The Australian Financial Review and Sydney Morning Herald. Imogen holds a First Class Bachelor of Arts from the University of Leeds.

James Bowe is the CEO and co-founder at OwnHome - and an expert in housing access and affordability. James spent seven years with Bain & Company, leading the retainer team for Tiger Global and working alongside global venture capital funds and technology companies. James holds a Bachelor of Arts and Law from the University of Sydney.

Tim Harley is the CEO and co-founder of OwnHome. Tim was a senior executive at Transfer Wise and has worked at Macquarie Capital and Herbert Smith Freeholds. Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney and a Master’s Degree from SOAS University of London. Tim holds a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice and Class I Real Estate License.
